Tools privacy policy

This covers the open-source tools I publish on the tools page, horoshop-mcp included. In short: I collect nothing. Below is the same thing in detail, together with where your data does end up — saying that honestly matters more than writing "we care about your privacy".

Who is responsible

Sergey Troitskiy, ecomkit.com.ua. Contact: hello@ecomkit.com.ua, or @ecomkit_bot on Telegram.

What I collect

Nothing. The tools carry no telemetry, no analytics, no call counters and no "anonymous usage statistics". There is not a single request to any server of mine in the code, because these tools have no servers at all. I do not know who installed a tool, or when, or whether it is running for you.

Where your credentials live

Your store's admin login and password are stored in your own MCP client's configuration file, on your own machine. They are sent nowhere except to your own store, and I have no access to that file.

The platform issues no separate integration keys, so it offers no other way to connect. That is why the documentation specifically advises creating a separate admin user for the integration — one you can switch off in a single move without locking yourself out.

Where your data does end up

This is the most important point, and the one usually left unsaid.

The tool is a bridge between your AI assistant and your store. When you ask the assistant to show your orders, that order data becomes part of your conversation with the assistant. So it goes to whoever provides that assistant — Anthropic, Google, OpenAI or another provider, depending on what you use. Exactly as if you had copied the data into a chat window by hand.

That is governed by your AI provider's privacy policy, not mine, and I have no influence over it. The practical conclusion: if your catalog or customer database holds data that must not leave the company, do not ask the assistant to export it.

Two parties are involved in the exchange, and neither of them is me:

  • your own store — your own data on your own hosting;
  • your AI assistant's provider — under their own terms.

How long it is kept

By me: not at all, because nothing reaches me. Locally, the data lives exactly as long as your conversation with the assistant does, and as long as the assistant itself retains it.

Sharing with third parties

I share nothing with anyone, because I have nothing to share. The tools contain no advertising or analytics inserts.

Your rights

Since I do not process your personal data in connection with these tools, there is nothing to request deletion of or a copy of. If you believe otherwise, write to me and we will work through the specifics.

Changes

If a tool ever appears that does collect something, that will be written here and on its own page before it becomes available, not after. The update date is at the top of this page.
